First day of recording the new EP “Onward". Here’s me walking to lunch in East Nashville with bassist Chris Donohue (Emmy Lou Harris, Dave Matthews Band). Great day of tracking bass, drums, and keys. Tomorrow is banjo, mandolin, and violin. Then vocals a guitar. On drums was Ken Lewis (The Civil Wars, The Lone Bellow, Ben Folds), and on Keys was Ian Fitchuk (Griffin House, Landon Pigg). Helping on lead guitar will be Joe Pisapia (Guster, KD Lang), and Ben Kauffman on mandolin/fiddle, and Matt Menafee (Mumford & Sons, Cadillac Sky) on banjo. Last but not least Stephen Leiweke co-producing and playing electric guitars. All Star cast, I tell ya! Can’t wait for you guys to hear! Stay tuned…
