Here's a very cool cover of "I Got Your Back" by Kelley Sheep - especially cool since its the first time I’ve heard a female vocal on this song. This girl’s voice is super sweet and has an earnestness to it that really struck me. Kinda Colbie, kinda Ingrid: Makes me want to find ways to incorporate female vocals into my songs more ("duets" seem to be acceptable again, whether its Monsters and Men or Gotye). Perhaps I will find a place for a female voice on the new record. Which, by the way, will begin production in late May!
